I just want to say a special thanks to everyone who has been part of this new chapter of my triathlon career and to those who have given me the belief and confidence that I could give the long course stuff a good go! Shout out to my close friends and family who support me no matter what, especially @sophiagreen27 who stops me from overtraining when I get carried away…
There is plenty of room in the team at the moment and some space that could definitely be filled to help me along this new journey 👀 Always looking to work with good brands/organisations in a partnership that benefits everyone 🫱🏻🫲🏼

3:34:48 finish time for me today (swim: 21:40, bike: 1:59:58 1:09:21) a crazy difference between Busselton last December and now. So happy to see the hard work I’ve put into training over the last few months has paid off. To secure my spot for the Ironman 70.3 World Champs in Marbella at the end of the year is also an amazing goal to tick off at the first race of the season 😎
I’m now self coached and sometimes you second guess yourself if you really know what you’re doing, or if you’re doing too much/too little. But this performance gives me confidence that I have a pretty good idea of the plan I need to follow and I’m excited to continue to build on this form throughout 2025!
10 seconds off the podium today does hurt a little bit, but the last 5km was a survival mission due to some terrible blisters, something I need to sort out for the next one, always learning.
Next race: Ironman 70.3 Venice-Jesolo 🇮🇹 - 4th of May

The last few months has involved a lot of hard work, most of that on my own, something I didn’t think I would enjoy but it’s been very rewarding and allowed me to get exactly what I needed from every training session!
From the training I have done I know I’m in the best shape of my triathlon career. Now we just need some luck and hopefully a good performance isn’t far away!

The work has been done and now it’s time to freshen up and send it on Sunday morning at @ironman70.3geelong! Big field to kick off the first Ironman Pro Series race of the year, excited to show the work I’ve been putting in.
You will catch me by the pool with a beer the rest of the week getting as much sun as possible before flying back to the UK next week ✈️

Inter-county XC Champions 🥇 It was cool to be part of the winning team on Saturday, great running from all the lads! I had fun and glad to be finding some good form as the triathlon season closes in.

It was great to be back using the @morayleisurecentre facilities over the festive period whilst we were back home! Thanks to all the staff and management team for making us feel welcome as always.
It always brings back good memories of being a kid/teenager learning how to swim and using the gym.
Lots has changed with the Centre since then and it’s busier than ever now, it sounds like it has a bright future ahead!
First race of 2023 and first time in the Charnwood AC vest! Very tough conditions and course today, there was no break from the mud!
Nice to come away with 3rd senior (4th overall) at the Leicestershire & Rutland County Champs and secure my spot for the inter-counties team in a couple of months!
It’s been a fun and very challenging year, with lots of amazing memories! From racing in the Commie Games and starting a Masters at Loughborough Uni to one of my worst periods of injury.
Looking forward to 2023 and spending more great moments with friends and family 🍻

It was awesome to finish 5th yesterday in the Mixed Team Relay, Scotland’s best performance ever in this event. A very exciting future ahead for Scottish Triathlon!
Now time to chill out for a couple of days and get back into training for the rest of the season 😎
